The rapid advancement of mobile technology has the potential to revolutionize agricultural extension services and improve the livelihoods of farmers in rural communities. This research project aims to assess the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities, with a focus on how it can enhance access to information, knowledge sharing, and overall agricultural productivity. The study will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on the role of mobile technology in agricultural extension services. It will explore how mobile platforms can be utilized to disseminate relevant agricultural information, provide training and advisory services, and facilitate communication between farmers and extension agents. Methodologically, the research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. Surveys and interviews will be conducted with farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders to gather insights on their experiences and perceptions of using mobile technology for agricultural extension services. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of mobile technology in improving agricultural extension services in rural communities. The discussion will analyze the key factors influencing the adoption and utilization of mobile technology, as well as the challenges and limitations that may hinder its full potential.
