The use of mobile technology has revolutionized various sectors, and its potential to enhance agricultural extension services in rural communities is significant. This research aims to explore the utilization of mobile technology for improving agricultural extension services in rural communities. The study will investigate the current challenges faced by agricultural extension services in rural areas, the role of mobile technology in addressing these challenges, and the impact of mobile technology on the effectiveness and reach of extension services. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, including surveys, interviews, and case studies, to gather data from extension workers, farmers, and other stakeholders in rural communities. The literature review will delve into the existing knowledge on agricultural extension services, mobile technology applications in agriculture, and the adoption and impact of mobile technology in rural contexts. Key themes explored in the literature review will include the benefits and limitations of mobile technology in agricultural extension, best practices for mobile technology implementation, and the factors influencing the adoption of mobile technology in rural areas. The research methodology will outline the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, and data analysis procedures. Surveys will be conducted to gather quantitative data on the current state of agricultural extension services and the potential for mobile technology integration. In-depth interviews with extension workers and farmers will provide qualitative insights into their experiences with mobile technology in agriculture.
