The rapid advancement of mobile technology has significantly influenced the agricultural sector, particularly in extending services to rural communities. This research study aims to explore the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities, focusing on the benefits, challenges, and opportunities it presents. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, utilizing surveys, interviews, and case studies to gather data from farmers, extension workers, and relevant stakeholders. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, background information on agricultural extension services, the problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 reviews existing literature on the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services, highlighting key concepts, theories, and empirical studies related to the topic. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations. The chapter also discusses the selection criteria for the study participants and the rationale behind the chosen methodology.
