Project Abstract

<p> This research project aims to analyze the impact of agricultural extension on the adoption of sustainable irrigation practices among farmers. Irrigation plays a crucial role in ensuring agricultural productivity and food security, but unsustainable irrigation practices can lead to water scarcity, environmental degradation, and reduced crop yields. Agricultural extension services have the potential to promote sustainable irrigation practices by providing farmers with knowledge, training, and resources. This study will assess the effectiveness of extension approaches, identify barriers and facilitators to adoption, and provide recommendations for enhancing extension services in promoting sustainable irrigation practices. <br></p>
