Climate change poses a significant threat to agricultural production in developing countries, impacting food security, livelihoods, and overall economic development. This thesis aims to assess the economic impacts of climate change on agricultural production in developing countries. The study focuses on understanding how changes in climate patterns, such as temperature rises, shifts in precipitation, and extreme weather events, affect agricultural productivity and profitability. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research examines the existing knowledge on the subject and identifies gaps in understanding the economic implications of climate change on agriculture. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, highlighting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions. The introductory chapter sets the stage for the research by outlining the importance of addressing the economic impacts of climate change on agricultural production. Chapter 2 presents a detailed literature review that synthesizes existing studies on the economic impacts of climate change on agriculture. This chapter explores ten key themes related to climate change, agricultural production, and economic outcomes in developing countries.
