However, traditional methods of adult education may not always be accessible or convenient for working adults or those with other commitments. Therefore, the proposed online platform seeks to provide a flexible and user-friendly environment for adult learners to improve their digital literacy skills at their own pace and convenience. Chapter One of the research project will introduce the topic, provide the background of the study, present the problem statement, outline the objectives of the study, discuss the limitations and scope of the research, highlight the significance of the study, and define key terms used throughout the research. The chapter will set the foundation for understanding the importance of digital literacy skills for adult learners and the rationale behind developing an online platform to address this need. Chapter Two will consist of a comprehensive literature review that explores existing studies, theories, and frameworks related to adult education, digital literacy, online learning platforms, and best practices in designing effective educational tools for adult learners.
