Abstract
The integration of online platforms in adult education has gained significant attention in recent years as a means of enhancing accessibility and engagement among adult learners. This research explores the utilization of online platforms for adult education with a focus on strategies to enhance accessibility and engagement. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of online platforms in meeting the diverse learning needs of adult learners and improving their overall learning experience. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review on the topic, covering ten key areas related to online platforms in adult education. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, including research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the methodology. Chapter 4 presents a detailed discussion of the research findings, analyzing seven key aspects related to the effectiveness of online platforms in enhancing accessibility and engagement in adult education. The findings reveal that online platforms offer numerous benefits for adult learners, including flexibility, convenience, personalized learning experiences, and increased engagement. However, challenges such as digital literacy, technological barriers, and lack of social interaction can hinder the effectiveness of online learning environments.
