Project Abstract

This project aims to investigate the efficacy of personalized learning strategies in adult continuing education programs. In an era of rapidly evolving job markets and technological advancements, the need for lifelong learning has become increasingly crucial. Adult learners, often juggling work, family, and other responsibilities, require educational approaches that cater to their unique needs and learning preferences. Personalized learning strategies, which tailor instruction and content to individual students, hold the potential to enhance the engagement, retention, and overall learning outcomes of adult learners in continuing education programs. The main objective of this project is to assess the impact of personalized learning strategies on the academic performance, skill development, and overall satisfaction of adult learners enrolled in continuing education programs. The study will examine the implementation of various personalized learning approaches, such as adaptive learning platforms, individualized instructional materials, and one-on-one mentoring, across a diverse range of educational domains, including professional development, workforce training, and personal enrichment programs. Through a mixed-methods research design, the project will gather quantitative data on student learning outcomes, such as test scores, skill assessments, and course completion rates, as well as qualitative insights on the learners' experiences, perceptions, and engagement levels.
