Project Abstract

<p>In today's digital age, digital literacy has become an essential skill for individuals to navigate and thrive in various aspects of life, including education, employment, and social participation. This research project aims to examine the role of adult education in promoting digital literacy among adult learners. <br><br>The research will begin with a comprehensive literature review to explore the conceptual framework of digital literacy and its significance in the context of adult education. It will also analyze existing adult education programs and initiatives that focus on digital literacy to identify best practices and challenges.<br><br>The research methodology will involve both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data will be collected through surveys to assess the digital literacy levels of adult learners before and after participating in adult education programs. Qualitative data will be gathered through interviews and focus groups to gain insights into the experiences, perceptions, and challenges faced by adult learners in developing digital literacy skills.<br><br>The findings of this research will contribute to the existing knowledge on the role of adult education in promoting digital literacy. It will provide valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and program developers in designing and implementing effective adult education programs that address the digital literacy needs of adult learners. Ultimately, this research aims to empower adult learners with the necessary digital skills to thrive in the digital era and participate fully in the digital society.<br></p>
