Telehealth technology has emerged as a promising solution to address healthcare disparities in rural areas by providing access to quality care remotely. This comparative study aims to explore the impact of telehealth technology on patient care in a rural healthcare setting. The research will investigate the effectiveness of telehealth interventions in improving patient outcomes, access to care, and overall healthcare delivery in rural communities. The study will begin with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on telehealth technology, rural healthcare challenges, and the potential benefits of implementing telehealth solutions in underserved areas. By analyzing previous research findings and case studies, this study seeks to build upon the current knowledge base and identify gaps that warrant further investigation. In the methodology section, a mixed-methods approach will be employed to collect and analyze data. Quantitative data will be gathered through surveys and health records to measure patient outcomes and healthcare utilization before and after the implementation of telehealth services. Qualitative data will be collected through interviews with healthcare providers and patients to gain insights into their experiences and perceptions of telehealth technology. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the impact of telehealth technology on patient care in rural healthcare settings.
