The integration of telehealth technologies in healthcare has revolutionized the delivery of care, particularly in the management of chronic diseases among elderly patients. This systematic review aims to explore the impact of telehealth interventions on chronic disease management in the elderly population. The study will critically review existing literature to analyze the effectiveness of telehealth in improving health outcomes, enhancing patient satisfaction, and reducing healthcare costs for elderly individuals with chronic conditions. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The chapter also defines key terms relevant to the study to ensure clarity and understanding of the concepts discussed. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review comprising ten key items that highlight the current state of telehealth interventions in chronic disease management among elderly patients.
