This thesis aims to investigate the impact of telemedicine on chronic disease management in the older adult population. With the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases among older adults and the potential of telemedicine to improve healthcare delivery, this study seeks to explore how telemedicine interventions can enhance the management of chronic conditions in this demographic group. The research will be conducted through a comprehensive literature review, primary data collection, and analysis to provide insights into the effectiveness and challenges of implementing telemedicine in chronic disease management for older adults. The introduction section sets the stage by providing a background of the study, stating the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, and defining key terms for clarity. The literature review chapter will delve into ten key areas related to telemedicine, chronic disease management, and older adult healthcare to establish a strong theoretical foundation for the study. The research methodology chapter outlines the design, participants, data collection methods, variables, data analysis techniques, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study.
