Abstract
Telehealth has emerged as a valuable tool in healthcare delivery, offering new ways to provide care to patients in various settings. This systematic review investigates the impact of telehealth on patient outcomes in home care settings. The study aims to synthesize existing research findings to evaluate the effectiveness of telehealth interventions on patient outcomes such as quality of care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes in the context of home-based care. The review begins with an extensive search and selection process of relevant studies from electronic databases, resulting in a final selection of studies meeting the inclusion criteria. The review then analyzes and synthesizes the selected studies to identify common themes, trends, and outcomes related to the use of telehealth in home care settings. Key findings from the review include positive impacts of telehealth interventions on patient outcomes, such as improved access to care, enhanced patient satisfaction, and better management of chronic conditions. The review also explores challenges and limitations associated with telehealth implementation in home care, including issues related to technology use, patient engagement, and healthcare provider training. The implications of the findings are discussed in the context of improving healthcare delivery in home care settings through the integration of telehealth technologies. Recommendations for future research and practice are provided to guide the continued development and implementation of telehealth interventions in home-based care.
