Virtual reality (VR) technology has gained significant attention in various fields, including healthcare, for its potential to enhance education and training experiences. This thesis investigates the impact of VR simulation on nursing education and training. The study aims to explore how VR can be effectively integrated into nursing education programs to enhance learning outcomes and prepare nursing students for real-world clinical settings. The research begins with an introduction that outlines the background of the study, presents the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. A comprehensive literature review in Chapter Two delves into ten key aspects related to VR simulation in nursing education, providing a theoretical foundation for the study. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including the research design, participants, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. The chapter also discusses ethical considerations, validity, and reliability of the study. The research employs a mixed-methods approach to gather both qualitative and quantitative data. Chapter Four presents a detailed discussion of the findings derived from the study. Results are analyzed and interpreted to explore the effectiveness of VR simulation in nursing education, identifying benefits, challenges, and implications for practice. The chapter also discusses the practical implications of integrating VR technology into nursing curricula and training programs.
