Virtual reality (VR) simulation has emerged as a promising technology in nursing education and training, offering immersive and interactive learning experiences for students. This thesis explores the impact of VR simulation on nursing education and training, examining its potential benefits, challenges, and implications for the nursing profession. The study aims to investigate how VR simulation can enhance learning outcomes, improve clinical skills proficiency, and contribute to the overall competency development of nursing students. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter 2 comprises a comprehensive literature review that discusses the theoretical foundations, current trends, and empirical studies related to VR simulation in nursing education.
