Telemedicine, as a rapidly advancing field in healthcare, has the potential to transform the delivery of oral health care services. This thesis aims to assess the impact of telemedicine on oral health care delivery by examining its effectiveness, challenges, and implications. The study delves into the utilization of telemedicine technologies such as video consultations, remote monitoring, and digital imaging in providing oral health care services. The research begins by exploring the background of telemedicine in dentistry, highlighting its evolution and significance in improving access to care, especially in remote or underserved areas. The problem statement emphasizes the need to evaluate the effectiveness and limitations of telemedicine in oral health care delivery. The objectives of the study include assessing patient satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and clinical outcomes associated with telemedicine interventions in dentistry. Methodologically, this research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with oral health care providers and patients. The study design incorporates a systematic review of the existing literature on telemedicine in dentistry to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
