Abstract
Telemedicine, a rapidly evolving field, has been increasingly utilized in various medical specialties to improve healthcare delivery, especially in remote and underserved communities. This study aims to assess the impact of tele dentistry on oral health outcomes in remote communities. The research investigates how tele dentistry services can enhance access to oral healthcare, improve patient outcomes, and address the challenges faced by individuals residing in geographically isolated areas. The methodology involves a comprehensive literature review to examine the current landscape of tele dentistry, its benefits, limitations, and effectiveness in improving oral health outcomes. Additionally, primary data will be collected through surveys and interviews with dental professionals, patients, and community stakeholders to gain insights into their experiences with tele dentistry services. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable information on the effectiveness and feasibility of tele dentistry in improving oral health outcomes in remote communities. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting the potential of tele dentistry as a valuable tool in expanding access to oral healthcare services and improving health outcomes for individuals in remote areas.

Thesis Overview

The project titled "Assessment of the Impact of Tele dentistry on Oral Health Outcomes in Remote Communities" aims to investigate the effectiveness of tele dentistry in improving oral health outcomes in remote communities. By utilizing telecommunication technologies such as video conferencing, digital imaging, and remote monitoring tools, dental professionals can provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations to patients in remote areas, reducing the barriers to traditional in-person dental care. This study will explore the impact of tele dentistry on various aspects of oral health outcomes, including preventive care, early detection of dental issues, treatment adherence, patient satisfaction, and overall oral health improvement. By analyzing data from remote communities where tele dentistry interventions have been implemented, the research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions in improving oral health outcomes and addressing the unique challenges faced by underserved populations. Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis, this study seeks to provide valuable insights into the potential benefits and limitations of tele dentistry in remote communities.
