Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of telemedicine in enhancing access to dental care services. The utilization of telemedicine in the field of dentistry has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to overcome barriers to accessing dental services, especially in underserved and remote areas. The primary objective of this study is to critically analyze the effectiveness of telemedicine in improving access to dental care, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, convenience, and quality of care. The research methodology employed in this study includes a comprehensive review of existing literature on telemedicine in dentistry, as well as an analysis of case studies and empirical data to assess the outcomes and benefits of tele-dentistry services. A mixed-methods approach will be utilized to gather both qualitative and quantitative data, including surveys, interviews, and observations. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the role of telemedicine in addressing disparities in dental care access, particularly for vulnerable populations.
