Abstract
The quest for whiter teeth has become increasingly popular in modern society, leading to the widespread use of various whitening agents. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the efficacy of different whitening agents on dental enamel. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review to establish the background of the study, identify the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and define key terms. The literature review highlighted previous research on whitening agents, enamel structure, and mechanisms of action. The research methodology section detailed the experimental design, sample selection criteria, whitening agent application protocols, enamel evaluation methods, data analysis techniques, and ethical considerations. The study findings indicated varying degrees of effectiveness among the different whitening agents tested, with some demonstrating superior whitening outcomes compared to others. The discussion of findings delved into the implications of these results, considering factors such as enamel sensitivity, potential side effects, and long-term effects on dental health.
