Telemedicine has emerged as a significant innovation in healthcare delivery, including the field of dentistry. This thesis explores the impact of telemedicine on oral health care delivery, aiming to assess its effectiveness, benefits, challenges, and implications for both patients and oral health providers. The study delves into the various aspects of telemedicine application in dentistry, including teledentistry, remote consultations, digital imaging, and patient education. Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical research, this thesis examines the current state of telemedicine in oral health care and its potential to transform traditional dental practices. The research methodology employed in this study includes a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Interviews with oral health professionals, surveys of patients utilizing telemedicine services, and analysis of relevant case studies form the basis of the empirical investigation.
