Tooth whitening has become a popular cosmetic dental procedure, with various techniques being employed to achieve desired results. This thesis aims to assess the efficacy of different tooth whitening techniques in clinical practice. The study focuses on comparing traditional methods such as in-office bleaching, at-home bleaching, and over-the-counter whitening products to newer technologies like laser whitening and light-activated whitening systems. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, clinical trials, and patient surveys to gather data on the effectiveness, safety, and patient satisfaction of these techniques. Chapter One provides an introduction to the topic, background information, problem statement, objectives of the study, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms.
