Periodontal diseases are among the most prevalent oral health issues affecting adults worldwide. While conventional treatments are commonly used, there is a growing interest in exploring alternative therapies, such as herbal remedies, for preventing and treating periodontal diseases. This research project aims to investigate the efficacy of herbal remedies in managing periodontal diseases in adults. The study will involve a comprehensive literature review to examine the existing evidence on the use of herbal remedies in periodontal care. The research methodology will include a systematic review of published studies, clinical trials, and case reports related to herbal remedies and periodontal diseases. Relevant databases will be searched to identify studies that meet the inclusion criteria. Data extraction and analysis will be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of various herbal remedies in managing periodontal diseases. The findings will be synthesized to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge in this area. The discussion of findings will delve into the potential benefits and limitations of using herbal remedies in periodontal care, highlighting key considerations for clinical practice.
