Abstract
This thesis investigates the effectiveness of tele-dentistry in enhancing access to dental care services. The study aims to address the challenges faced in traditional dental care systems by exploring the potential benefits of tele-dentistry in increasing access to oral health services. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review to examine existing studies on tele-dentistry and its impact on improving accessibility to dental care. Furthermore, the study includes a quantitative analysis to evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of tele-dentistry interventions. The findings suggest that tele-dentistry has the potential to overcome geographical barriers, reduce waiting times, and enhance patient engagement in dental care. The limitations of the study are acknowledged, including the need for further research to explore the long-term sustainability and cost-effectiveness of tele-dentistry initiatives. The significance of this study lies in its potential to inform policymakers, dental practitioners, and other stakeholders about the benefits and challenges associated with implementing tele-dentistry programs.
