The advancement of 3D printing technology has revolutionized various industries, including dentistry. This study explores the application of 3D printing in prosthodontics and compares its effectiveness with traditional methods. The research aims to assess the accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of 3D printing technology in fabricating dental prostheses compared to conventional techniques. The study begins with an introduction to the background of 3D printing technology and its potential benefits in the field of prosthodontics. The problem statement highlights the limitations of traditional prosthodontic methods and the need for innovative solutions. The objectives of the study include evaluating the precision of 3D-printed prostheses, analyzing the time and cost savings compared to traditional methods, and assessing patient satisfaction with 3D-printed dental appliances. The literature review presents a comprehensive analysis of existing studies on 3D printing technology in prosthodontics, covering topics such as materials used, fabrication techniques, accuracy of printed prostheses, and patient outcomes. By reviewing the current state of research, this study aims to identify gaps in knowledge and contribute to the existing body of literature on the subject.
