Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the effectiveness and clinical performance of different types of dental crowns used in restorative dentistry. Dental crowns are commonly employed to restore the function, aesthetics, and structural integrity of damaged or compromised teeth. Various materials, such as metal alloys, ceramics, and composite resins, are utilized in crown fabrication, each offering distinct properties and indications. This study will compare the longevity, durability, biocompatibility, and esthetic outcomes of different crown materials, with a focus on their suitability for specific clinical scenarios and patient populations. By evaluating the performance of diverse crown types, the project seeks to provide evidence-based guidance for crown selection and treatment planning in restorative dental practice.
