Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the relationship between oral health and cardiovascular disease. There is growing evidence suggesting that poor oral health, particularly periodontal disease, may be associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular problems such as heart disease and stroke. This study will review existing literature on the topic and conduct a meta-analysis of relevant studies to further explore this relationship. The findings of this research could have significant implications for both dental and medical practice, as well as public health policy.
