Thesis Abstract

This research project seeks to explore the role of genetics in dental diseases. While environmental factors and oral hygiene practices are known to influence oral health, genetic predisposition to dental conditions such as periodontal disease, dental anomalies, and susceptibility to caries has gained increasing attention. This study will review current evidence on the genetic determinants of dental diseases, examine the molecular pathways involved, and assess the potential implications for personalized dental care and preventive strategies. The findings of this research will contribute to a deeper understanding of the interplay between genetics and oral health and may have implications for precision dentistry.
