Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the impact of fluoride on dental health. Fluoride has been widely used in dental products and water fluoridation programs for its purported benefits in preventing dental caries. However, there is ongoing debate regarding the optimal level of fluoride exposure and its potential adverse effects. This study will review the existing literature on fluoride's effects on dental health, analyze the mechanisms of fluoride action in preventing dental caries, and assess the potential risks associated with excessive fluoride exposure. The findings of this research will contribute to a better understanding of the role of fluoride in dental health and inform public health policies related to fluoride use.
