Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to examine the role of human rights advocacy in addressing the growing threat of cyber espionage in the context of international security. The study will investigate the ways in which human rights organizations and activists have responded to the challenges posed by state-sponsored and non-state cyber espionage activities. By analyzing the strategies and tactics employed by human rights advocates, this research seeks to provide insights into the potential for human rights advocacy to influence policy and practice in the realm of cybersecurity and intelligence gathering.
