The use of fake Nigerian national identification cards by foreigners has become a growing concern in recent years. This research project aims to investigate the problems associated with this phenomenon and explore the prospects of addressing this issue effectively. The primary focus of the study is to identify the reasons why foreigners resort to using fake Nigerian national IDs, despite the legal implications and risks involved. By analyzing the motivations behind this behavior, the research aims to shed light on the underlying factors driving this trend. Furthermore, the project seeks to examine the various challenges posed by the use of fake Nigerian national IDs by foreigners. These challenges may include security risks, identity theft, and potential criminal activities facilitated by the possession of fraudulent identification documents. Understanding these challenges is crucial for developing effective strategies to combat the proliferation of fake IDs among foreigners. In addition to exploring the problems associated with fake Nigerian national IDs, the research project also aims to investigate the prospects of addressing this issue. This may involve exploring technological solutions, policy changes, and enforcement measures to deter foreigners from using fake identification documents. The study will utilize both qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather data and analyze the findings.
