This thesis investigates the specific repercussions of climate change on coral reefs, focusing on the loss of biodiversity and subsequent ecological consequences. The study aims to assess the current state of coral reefs in the face of climate change and explore potential mitigation strategies to protect these vital ecosystems. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, defining the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis.
