This thesis investigates the impact of climate change on biodiversity in aquatic ecosystems and aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex interactions between changing environmental conditions and aquatic species diversity. The study focuses on assessing how climate change influences the distribution, abundance, and behavior of various aquatic organisms, including fish, invertebrates, and algae. By examining these relationships, the research aims to enhance our knowledge of the potential consequences of climate change on aquatic biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, defining the problem statement, outlining the objectives, discussing the limitations and scope of the study, highlighting its significance, and providing an overview of the thesis structure.
