Abstract
Invasive species pose significant threats to native wildlife populations and ecosystems globally. This study investigates the ecological impacts of invasive species on native wildlife populations in a specific ecosystem. The research focuses on understanding the interactions between invasive species and native wildlife, the mechanisms driving these impacts, and the potential consequences for ecosystem dynamics. Through a comprehensive literature review, this thesis explores the current knowledge on invasive species, their spread, and their effects on native biodiversity. The research methodology includes field surveys, data analysis, and modeling techniques to assess the extent of invasion and its implications for native wildlife populations. Findings from the study reveal the complexities of invasive species interactions with native wildlife, highlighting the importance of early detection, monitoring, and management strategies. The discussion delves into the ecological consequences of invasive species on ecosystem processes, species interactions, and community structure. The study concludes with recommendations for conservation practices and future research directions to mitigate the ecological impacts of invasive species on native wildlife populations in the studied ecosystem.
