Abstract
The impact of climate change on biodiversity has become a significant concern in recent years, with species around the world facing challenges to their survival and migration patterns. This study focuses on investigating the effects of climate change on bird migration patterns, aiming to provide valuable insights into how changing environmental conditions are influencing the behavior of avian populations. Through a combination of field observations, data analysis, and literature review, this research explores the relationship between climate change and bird migration, with a particular emphasis on how rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and habitat loss are affecting the timing, routes, and destinations of migratory birds. Chapter One introduces the research topic and outlines the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review that synthesizes existing knowledge on the impacts of climate change on bird migration patterns, covering topics such as phenology shifts, range expansions, and population declines. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including data collection methods, study sites, sampling techniques, and statistical analyses used to investigate bird migration patterns in relation to climate change.
