**Abstract
** Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common degenerative joint disease in dogs, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Current treatment options for canine OA are limited and often focus on managing symptoms rather than addressing the underlying cause. Stem cell therapy has emerged as a promising regenerative medicine approach for treating OA by promoting tissue repair and reducing inflammation. This thesis aims to explore the use of stem cell therapy in the treatment of canine OA, with a focus on its efficacy, safety, and potential impact on patient outcomes. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to stem cell therapy in veterinary medicine and its application in OA treatment. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, including study design, sample selection, stem cell sources, treatment protocols, outcome measures, data analysis methods, ethical considerations, and potential biases.
