This thesis explores the application of telemedicine in veterinary practice, focusing on its benefits, challenges, and implications. The research delves into the potential advantages of telemedicine in enhancing access to veterinary care, improving efficiency, and facilitating communication between veterinary professionals and pet owners. Moreover, it examines the challenges associated with implementing telemedicine in veterinary practice, including regulatory issues, concerns about data security and privacy, and limitations in technology infrastructure. Through a comprehensive literature review, this thesis identifies key factors influencing the successful adoption of telemedicine in veterinary medicine. The review covers topics such as teleconsultation services, remote monitoring of animal health, teletriage, and telemedicine platforms tailored for veterinary use.
