Telemedicine is a rapidly growing field that has revolutionized healthcare delivery by enabling remote diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients using technology. In the veterinary field, telemedicine offers promising opportunities to enhance the quality of care for animals while overcoming barriers related to distance and access to specialized expertise. This thesis aims to assess the effectiveness of telemedicine in veterinary practice by examining its impact on animal health outcomes, client satisfaction, and veterinary workflow efficiency. The study begins with a comprehensive literature review to explore the evolution of telemedicine in veterinary medicine, current trends, and challenges faced by practitioners. It also investigates the regulatory frameworks governing telemedicine in veterinary practice and highlights key ethical considerations. The research methodology section outlines the study design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed to evaluate the effectiveness of telemedicine in improving veterinary care delivery. Findings from the study reveal that telemedicine offers significant benefits in terms of increased access to veterinary services, reduced travel costs for clients, and improved communication between veterinarians and pet owners.
