Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of mixed-use development on urban sustainability through a detailed case study analysis. Urban sustainability has become a critical issue as cities around the world face challenges related to population growth, resource depletion, and environmental degradation. Mixed-use development has emerged as a potential solution to promote sustainable urban growth by integrating residential, commercial, and recreational spaces within a single area. The study begins with an exploration of the background of mixed-use development and its relevance to urban sustainability. It identifies the problem statement concerning the need to balance economic growth with environmental preservation in urban areas.
