Abstract
This thesis examines the impact of urban green spaces on community well-being within the context of a rapidly growing city. Urban green spaces play a significant role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing opportunities for recreation, social interaction, and connection with nature. The study aims to investigate the relationship between the availability and quality of urban green spaces and the well-being of communities in a growing city. The research begins with a comprehensive review of literature on the importance of urban green spaces in promoting community well-being. Various theories and studies related to the benefits of green spaces, such as physical and mental health improvements, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability, are explored. The literature review also highlights the challenges and opportunities associated with urban green space planning and management in the context of urban growth and development. The research methodology section outlines the approach taken to assess the impact of urban green spaces on community well-being. A mixed-methods research design is employed, incorporating both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with residents and community stakeholders.
