Transit-oriented development (TOD) has emerged as a promising urban planning strategy to address the challenges of urban mobility and sustainable development. This thesis investigates the impact of TOD on urban mobility and sustainable development through a case study approach. The study focuses on a specific city to analyze the effectiveness of TOD in improving transport infrastructure, reducing traffic congestion, promoting sustainable land use, and enhancing overall urban livability. The introduction provides an overview of the background of the study, highlighting the importance of TOD in addressing urbanization challenges. The problem statement identifies the gaps in existing literature regarding the specific impacts of TOD on urban mobility and sustainable development.
