This thesis investigates the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices within indigenous cultures of the Amazon Rainforest. The study explores how the rapid integration of these communities into the global economy and the spread of Western ideologies have influenced their traditional belief systems and cultural practices. Through a comprehensive examination of the social, economic, and environmental changes brought about by globalization, this research aims to provide insights into the challenges faced by indigenous populations in preserving their unique religious traditions in the face of modernization. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and the structure of the thesis.
