This study explores the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices, focusing on how globalization processes have influenced the beliefs, rituals, and structures of traditional religious systems around the world. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this thesis examines the complex interplay between globalization and traditional religious practices, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities that arise from this dynamic interaction. The introductory chapter provides a background to the study, outlining the increasing interconnectedness of the modern world and its implications for traditional religious beliefs and practices. The problem statement identifies the need to understand how globalization has reshaped traditional religious systems and the potential consequences for the preservation and evolution of these practices.
