The phenomenon of globalization has brought about significant changes in various aspects of human life, including traditional religious practices. This thesis explores the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices, focusing on how global interconnectedness, technological advancements, and cultural exchange have influenced the way in which individuals engage with and practice their religious beliefs. The introduction provides a background to the study, highlighting the increasing interconnectedness of societies and the resulting challenges and opportunities for traditional religious practices. The problem statement emphasizes the need to understand how globalization affects the authenticity, sustainability, and relevance of traditional religious practices in a rapidly changing world. The objectives of the study are to analyze the mechanisms through which globalization impacts traditional religious practices, identify the challenges and opportunities presented by globalization, and propose strategies to preserve and promote traditional religious practices in the face of globalization.
