In recent decades, the phenomenon of globalization has significantly impacted various aspects of societies worldwide, including traditional religious practices. This thesis investigates the complex interplay between globalization and traditional religious practices, focusing on how the forces of globalization have influenced the beliefs, rituals, and structures of traditional religions. The study explores the implications of globalization on the preservation, adaptation, and transformation of traditional religious practices in a rapidly changing globalized world. Chapter One provides an introduction to the topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. The chapter sets the stage for understanding the impact of globalization on traditional religious practices.
