The construction industry is characterized by its complexity, uncertainty, and the significant challenges associated with managing costs effectively. Cost control techniques play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed within budget and meet the financial objectives of stakeholders. This thesis focuses on exploring and analyzing cost control techniques in construction projects through a detailed case study analysis. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. The chapter sets the foundation for the study by highlighting the importance of cost control in construction projects and the need for effective techniques to manage project costs. Chapter 2 consists of a comprehensive literature review that examines existing research on cost control techniques in construction projects.
