The integration of blockchain technology in supply chain management has emerged as a promising solution to address issues related to transparency and efficiency within the global supply chain. This thesis explores the implementation of blockchain technology in supply chain management to enhance transparency and efficiency. The research delves into the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to blockchain technology in supply chain management. The review includes discussions on the principles of blockchain, its applications in supply chain management, benefits, challenges, adoption trends, case studies, and future prospects.
