Negotiation plays a crucial role in the purchasing of capital equipment for organizations. This research project focuses on exploring the impact of negotiation in the purchasing process of capital equipment, with a case study of the Nigerian Bottling Company. The study aims to investigate how negotiation strategies and tactics influence the outcome of purchasing capital equipment and the overall performance of the organization. The research methodology involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the negotiation practices within the Nigerian Bottling Company and offer recommendations for improving the negotiation process in purchasing capital equipment. By understanding the impact of negotiation on purchasing decisions, organizations can enhance their procurement strategies, optimize costs, and improve operational efficiency.
