This thesis explores the implementation of e-government services in local governments with the aim of enhancing citizen engagement and service delivery. The study is motivated by the recognition that effective e-government initiatives have the potential to transform the way governments interact with citizens and deliver services. The research begins with an examination of the background of e-government services, highlighting the evolution of digital technologies in the public sector and the growing emphasis on citizen-centered service delivery. The problem statement identifies the challenges faced by local governments in implementing e-government services and the impact of these challenges on citizen engagement and service delivery. The objectives of the study are to assess the current state of e-government implementation in local governments, identify best practices for enhancing citizen engagement, and evaluate the impact of e-government services on service delivery.
