Abstract
This thesis explores the impact of E-Government services on citizen engagement and satisfaction within local government agencies. In an increasingly digital world, government entities are turning to electronic means to provide services and interact with citizens. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of E-Government services in enhancing citizen engagement and satisfaction levels. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study examines existing theories and empirical evidence related to E-Government services, citizen engagement, and satisfaction. The research methodology involves quantitative analysis of survey data collected from citizens who have interacted with E-Government services in a local government setting. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key areas related to E-Government services, citizen engagement, and satisfaction.
