The advancement of technology has revolutionized the way governments interact with citizens, leading to the emergence of e-government services aimed at enhancing citizen engagement in public administration. This thesis explores the implementation of e-government services as a means to improve citizen participation, transparency, and efficiency in public administration. The study delves into the background of e-government initiatives, the problem of limited citizen engagement, and the objectives of implementing e-government services in public administration. A comprehensive literature review in Chapter Two examines existing research on e-government services, citizen engagement, and public administration. The review identifies key factors that influence the successful implementation of e-government services and highlights best practices for enhancing citizen engagement through digital platforms. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study, including the research design, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. The chapter also discusses the research limitations and ethical considerations that guided the study. In Chapter Four, the findings of the research are presented and analyzed in detail. The discussion covers the impact of e-government services on citizen engagement, the challenges faced in implementation, and the strategies for overcoming barriers to effective citizen participation in public administration. Finally, Chapter Five provides a summary of the key findings, conclusions drawn from the research, and recommendations for policymakers and practitioners in the field of public administration.
